About this piece
Checkmate is built from precision-cut clear acrylic panels, bonded into a cascading stepped volume. The chess-inspired geometry is deliberate: each level is a platform, each angle a new view. In a gallery it holds art. In a living room, it holds a drink. In either setting, it holds attention.
