Our cast acrylic sheets are formulated with UV stabilisers that resist discolouration even under prolonged exposure. The clarity you install today remains the clarity you see three decades later — no hazing, no yellowing, no compromise.
Care guidelines.
Daily Cleaning
Do
- Use a soft, clean microfibre cloth
- Lukewarm water with a few drops of mild dish soap
- Rinse with clean water and dry immediately
- Use a specialist acrylic cleaner for stubborn marks
Do Not
- Paper towels or rough cloths — they scratch
- Acetone, thinners, or solvent-based cleaners
- Abrasive pastes or scouring pads
- Dry-wiping without water — always wet the surface first
Handling & Installation
Do
- Wear clean cotton gloves when handling large sheets
- Support the full length of the sheet during transport
- Keep the protective film on until installation is complete
- Allow 3–5mm expansion gap per metre for thermal movement
Do Not
- Drag sheets across rough surfaces
- Clamp or fix rigidly without allowing for expansion
- Remove protective film prematurely
- Expose edges to sharp impacts
Scratch Prevention & Restoration
Do
- Use a fine acrylic polishing compound for light surface scratches
- Apply in circular motions with a soft cloth
- Finish with an acrylic-safe polish to restore sheen
- Re-apply protective film during construction phases
Do Not
- Use metal tools or abrasive materials near the surface
- Attempt to sand deep scratches without professional advice
- Use car polishes not rated for acrylic
